Overview
Movemeon is growing fast in APAC, and we're looking for a Growth Associate to work directly alongside our APAC GM. This is a high-leverage role designed to free up our GM to spend more time with clients — while giving you a front-row seat to how a fast-growing business is built, with a clear path to running your own client portfolio over time.
You'll be based in Sydney and work closely in-person with our GM, joining client meetings, supporting business development, and taking ownership of the operational engine behind our growth. Over time, we'll coach you up to become a Growth Manager — independently managing smaller clients and running your own desk.
The opportunity
This role is built for someone who is hungry, organised, and wants to develop quickly. You'll get exposure to senior stakeholders across private equity, enterprise, and consulting from day one, and you'll learn the full commercial lifecycle — from outreach through to close and delivery.
We work across three core verticals in APAC:
* Private Equity & portfolio companies
* Large enterprises (hiring C-suite, strategy and transformation talent)
* Consulting & advisory firms (MBB, Big 4, boutiques)
What you\'ll do
Client & commercial support (core) Attend client meetings alongside the GM (and in time, independently), take clear notes and own the follow-up. Draft job descriptions, post roles to Movemeon, manage terms, and keep opportunities moving. Triage inbound enquiries quickly so nothing drops.
CRM & operations (HubSpot) Own day-to-day HubSpot hygiene — tagging, segmentation, pipeline stages. Build dashboards and pull lists that turn into action. Keep the commercial engine running smoothly.
Events & community Support the planning and execution of roundtables, client events, and our APAC community activity — from invite lists through to logistics and follow-ups.
Outbound & pipeline support Help build target lists, research accounts and stakeholders, and support outreach campaigns. Reactivate dormant leads and make sure warm conversations don\'t go cold.
Scalable assets & process Help build reusable templates, decks, proposals, and playbooks so our commercial process gets sharper and more repeatable over time. Spot friction in how we work and help fix it.
Content & thought leadership Support the development of insightful content and thought leadership — drawing on Movemeon\'s proprietary data and market insights to create pieces that resonate with our PE, enterprise and consulting audiences. This is a great way to build your own profile in the market while sharpening your commercial instincts.
What we\'re looking for
* ~2+ years of experience — recruitment agency background is a strong fit, particularly if you\'re looking for a better environment and more ownership
* Hungry, organised, and happy to cover lots of bases
* Strong written and verbal communicator
* Bias to action — you follow up, you close loops, you don\'t let things slip
* Comfortable in CRMs (HubSpot ideal, but we can teach this)
* Based in Sydney and able to work alongside the GM in person
* Bonus if you\'ve worked with PE funds, enterprise teams, or consulting firms before.
