Position title: ICT Business Analyst
Duration: At least 2 years
Job Type: Full-time (Minimum 38 hours per week)
The duties and responsibilities comprised the following, but not limited to:
1. Establish and capture business requirements in collaboration with users and key stakeholders.
2. Create technical specifications for system functionality and effectively communicate them to internal stakeholders to assess Proposed solutions.
3. Create a project proposal that includes a budget and resource allocation plan to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the delivery of the appropriate solutions.
4. Create user manuals for technical reference and provide end user technical support.
5. Collaborate directly with users to optimize current business processes and recommend functional solutions.
6. Determine the risks and difficulties related to project delivery, help with mitigation strategies, and escalate as required.
7. Engage in the end-to-end system, and business process reviews with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
8. Analyse current business processes and provide suggestions for improvement and implementation.
9. Lead the development of the design and test cases for user acceptance testing in collaboration with developers and testers.
10. Articulate requirements for development teams through user stories and acceptance criteria.
11. Document Functional and Non-functional Requirements.
12. Support the delivery and implementation of software, services, and systems in accordance with client requirements.
13. Identify and communicate any potential issues or delays to the business manager where appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications expected from the ICT Business Analyst:
1. Bachelor or higher-level qualifications or equivalent in Information Technology or business analysis.
2. A recent minimum of three years of relevant experience working as an ICT business analyst in the last five years.
3. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
4. Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including providing leadership to a small team.
5. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience with diagnostic tools or methodologies.
6. Excellent oral communication skills.
