Why This Is a Great Opportunity Senior, visible role with direct exposure to executive stakeholders, investment teams, and external partners Work within a stable, long-term investment environment backed by institutional capital Broad exposure across property development, commercial assets, and joint ventures Genuine mandate to improve systems, processes, and reporting frameworks Lead and develop a capable finance team in a values-driven, professional culture Melbourne-based role with long-term career progression potential Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, management, and reporting of transactional and financial data across the portfolio Ensure accurate accounting for complex structures and transactions, including detailed balance sheet reconciliations Oversee custodian reporting, reconciliations, and data integrity, including downstream impacts on unit pricing and returns Partner closely with Development and Investment Management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting Manage year-end financial statements and external audit processes Contribute to group tax reporting (GST, BAS, PAYG, FBT) and regulatory compliance Support management, investment committee, and board-level reporting with high-quality financial analysis Oversee management fees, recoveries, residential settlements, and joint venture reporting Support internal audit, risk management, treasury reporting, and loan covenant compliance Lead system improvements and finance transformation initiatives Manage, coach, and develop members of the finance team About You You're a technically strong finance professional who enjoys operating at both a hands-on and strategic level.
