Role
The primary purpose of the Inventory Team Leader is to oversee the control and flow of inventory within the site whilst balancing stock levels, ensuring availability, minimising costs, improving operational efficiency and reducing losses. OH&S and GMP standards are key all whilst working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment. This is a key role leading 2 stock controllers.
Inventory Monitoring and Control
* Inventory monitoring and control to ensure adequate stock for business operations
* Ensure inventory movements have been recorded systematically and accurately to maintain optimal inventory levels
* Identify and manage finished goods approaching shelf life
* Management of goods on hold ensuring the recorded status is accurate and goods are released within agreed timelines to avoid negative impacts on DIFOT
Stock Management
* Manage the end-to-end monthly stock take program
* Set up and manage periodic stock counts and audits ensuring system accuracy and reconciliation
* Monitor receivals, despatches, transfers and replenishment's ensuring accuracy throughout
* Develop trend reports to support root cause analysis
Data Analysis
* Analyse inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and mitigate potential shortages or overstock situations
Process Improvement
* Drive continual avenues of cost saving initiatives
* Implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Reporting
* Prepare regular reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency for upper management
* Take ownership of the ERP requirements for the warehouse

* Zero downtime contribution
* Inventory accuracy: >/= 98%
* Finished goods on hold: /= 98%
* Warehouse GMP: >/= 100%
Skills Required
* D365 Highly Advantageous
* Proven leadership skills, providing direction and support to ensure the team delivers the warehouse KPI's
* Previous experience in inventory management or a related role is essential, with a strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on inventory trends and forecasts
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and suppliers
