SURVEY TECHNICIAN - FIFO SOUTH AUSTRALIASURVEY TECHNICIAN - FIFO SOUTH AUSTRALIA4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants29th April, 2025We are looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join our team and work in long-term remote projects across South Australia.29th April, 2025We are looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join our team and work in long-term remote projects across South Australia.This role will report directly to the Project Manager and will require you to work in remote locations that are often hot, dry and dusty.The Role Will Include Duties, Such AsInterpret plans and mark out projects;Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control;Work with machine control to optimise the precision and time frame that works are completed within;Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;Undertake asbuilt surveys for project sign off and quantity verification;Provide timely and accurate surveys for end of month reporting;Produce clear and concise technical reports;Collect, interpret and analyse survey information as required; andProject administration (as required).The successful applicant will haveA relevant Surveying qualification – Cert IV or higher (required);Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable);Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac (desirable);Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance (desirable);The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO/DIDO capacity; andCurrent driver's licence.Our CompanyExact Contracting was established in 1992 and has a reputable history in the Civil, Mining and Agriculture industries, built on years of experience providing high quality services to a range of clients.
