About the Position
The Shire of Carnamah has a full time position available for a Plant Operator (Truck Driver), based in Carnamah. Applicants must hold a current unrestricted HC Class National Drivers Licence, WA Construction White Card and National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old).
The position is offered under the Municipal Employees (Western Australia) Award 2021 commencing at Level 5 ($34.01 per hour) with Council contributing superannuation benefits of (currently) 12%. Hours of employment are from 6.30am3.30pm (with half hour for lunch) Monday to Friday on the basis of a 9-day fortnight.
The Shire is offering the right candidate a salary of $67,203 for a 38-hour week with overtime normally available. In addition, the positions come with 4 weeks annual leave, sick leave and housing subsidy.
