About The Role:
In this hands‐on teaching role, you'll:
* Design and deliver engaging learning programs focused on any of the following:
* ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care
* ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming or general stream) Qualification.
* ACM40322 Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training
* Deliver engaging and hands‐on classes to diverse students.
* Provide feedback and support to help students develop their skills.
* Maintain industry currency through professional networks and industry engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years industry experience in Animal Studies industries – Pet Grooming desirable
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) – mandatory or willingness to enrol.
* Must hold a relevant qualification relating to any of the following: Certificate II in Animal Care; Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming or general stream) Qualification; Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training; or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
* Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of welfare, animal ethics and care practices.
* A genuine love for animals and enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
