**About the role**
Reporting to the Sales Manager WA, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and expertise to a team of Account Managers, Project Managers and Internal Sales Support across a large geographic region, ensuring they achieve their revenue targets. **This role can be Perth or regional based.**
**Your new role awaits**:
- Providing strong direction and leadership to the sales team to maximise effectiveness, capability and engagement.
- Actively contribute to the analysis of business trends and the projection of market requirements, competitor activities and threats, and business development opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Plan and spend at least 60% of the time in the field; supporting key sales staff by engaging with key customers and other influential decision makers
- Supporting sales staff by engaging with key customers, understanding their business and needs, developing winning solutions
- Contributing to the development and leading the implementation of strong Account Management Plans.
- Promote Coates Hire's Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture.
**What you'll bring to the role**:
You will be passionate about developing sales professionals and driving sales performance with proven experience gained in a similar position. Ideally this experience will have been gained selling services into construction, manufacturing, and/or government or related industries.
- The ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and qualities to lead a high performing sales team.
- The ability to develop strong customer relationships that translate into strong revenue generation and customer loyalty.
- Business planning and strategy development
- Strategic selling both personally and through others.
- A relevant tertiary education is preferred.
