A role designed for OTs who want flexibility, autonomy and meaningful work.
At Flourish Health, we are creating a new kind of community OT experience — one where you can deliver high-quality therapy without burnout, micromanagement or excessive admin.
We're a growing, Melbourne-based NDIS allied health practice with a strong client-centred approach and a calm, supportive culture. As our caseload grows, we're looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist who wants purpose-driven work, genuine flexibility and the chance to help shape a practice that's scaling sustainably.
Why Flourish Health?
We've specifically designed our OT roles around what clinicians actually value — freedom, support, respect and manageable workloads.
True Flexibility
* Choose your schedule: ideal if balancing family, study or another role
* Hybrid model: community, home-based, and telehealth work
* Set caseload size and pace that works for you
Low-Admin Work Environment
* Streamlined systems (Splose)
* Templates for all reports & assessments
* Admin support so you focus on clinical care, not paperwork
Competitive Pay
We provide above-market remuneration, tailored to experience and caseload type, with opportunities to increase earning potential as we grow.
Supportive Environment
* Structured onboarding
* Regular supervision
* Peer support and case discussions
* Leadership that genuinely understands OT work
About the Role
As a Flourish Health OT, you will:
* Deliver community-based OT services across Melbourne
* Complete functional assessments, capacity building, ADL assessments and AT recommendations
* Conduct FCAs where clinically appropriate and matched to your interest
* Provide strengths-based intervention tailored to participant goals
* Collaborate with families, support coordinators and other providers
* Produce clear, high-quality clinical documentation (with templates + guidance)
Caseload is matched to your clinical strengths (e.g., psychosocial, adults, mixed needs, functional assessments, or generalist OT).
What You Bring
* AHPRA registration
* Experience or interest in community NDIS OT
* Strong communication, empathy and professional judgement
* Ability to work independently with support available when needed
* NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
Early-career OTs are encouraged to apply if they have strong clinical foundations and appetite for community work.
What It Feels Like to Work Here
You won't be overloaded. You won't feel alone.
You'll get the backing, tools and emotional bandwidth to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients — and to enjoy your work again.
OTs often tell us they value:
* Our calm, organised systems
* Clear expectations
* Work-life balance
* Feeling heard and supported
* Being treated like a professional, not a billable unit
If that resonates with you, you'll fit right in.
