Job Role Overview
SCHCADS 5 position entails facilitating young people transitioning from youth detention to effectively reintegrate into family, community, and positive life pathways.
The Youth Mentor plays a key frontline role in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating strategies to achieve positive change in young people utilizing a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and youth-led approach.
Main responsibilities include:

Required Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in youth work, community services, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience working with young people in the youth justice, child protection, or community services sector
