Job Title: Team Leader Field Services
Job Overview:
The Team Leader Field Services is responsible for leading a team to deliver catchment land and water maintenance programs, land maintenance programs for other teams/asset owners, and parks and recreational land management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement catchment land and water maintenance strategies (fencing, weed spraying, native vegetation management, roading, slashing etc).
* Deliver land maintenance programs for other teams/asset owners (wastewater team, network field services, water resources) (eg. weeding, mowing, roading, etc).
* Coordinate parks and recreational land management (mowing, repairs and maintenance, tree management, amenity management etc).
* Oversee commercial forestry operations.
* Implement strategies to manage and improve recreational and cultural values in managed land assets.
* Develop and implement asset management strategies for managed land assets and associated infrastructure.
* Implement land use strategies, including decision on land use for managed lands.
* Implement strategies for source water quality protection and land management programs including river health, biodiversity, biosecurity, recreational assets, and land use management in accordance with government and community expectations in the organization's catchment assets including, waterways, land reserves and public parks.

* Leadership experience in a team environment.
* Ability to plan and deliver projects from conception to completion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of land management principles and practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
