Murray Cod Australia (MCA) produces premium, pond-grown Murray cod and operates a vertically integrated aquaculture business based in the Riverina region of New South Wales.
We are currently seeking an Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team in Griffith, NSW. This role will report to the Finance Manager and will support the day-to-day administration and finance functions of the business. Given the nature of the industry and the continued growth of MCA, the role is varied and fast-paced.
This position may be well suited to a junior or early-career candidate who is looking to develop their skills in finance and administration, with training and support provided. Candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will have good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a reliable, practical approach to their work. A willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a small team is essential.
Key attributes we will assess include:
* Data entry and general filing
* Clear written and verbal communication
* Experience using Microsoft Office (MYOB Advanced experience is desirable but not essential)
* Exposure to accounts receivable and/or accounts payable
* A positive attitude and ability to solve routine problems as they arise
