Alucom is a leading re-seller of aluminium materials and home improvement products, servicing both trade and retail customers across Canberra. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable full-time team member to join our friendly and supportive workplace.
This is a varied role combining customer sales, showroom consulting, and office administration support.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Counter and phone sales
* Assisting trade and retail customers in our showroom
* Preparing customer quotations and processing orders
* Customer liaison and follow-up
* General administrative duties including data entry, filing, and email correspondence
* Supporting scheduling, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as required
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* The ability to work both independently and within a team
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual work ethic
* Takes pride in personal presentation
* Proficiency with computers and office systems
* Previous sales and/or administration experience preferred
* Previous experience in the aluminium industry will be an advantage
