Job Description
As a Collection Management Archivist, you will play a crucial role in preserving Queensland's digital heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake complex arrangement and description of archival records in all digital and analogue formats according to Australian Series System standards.
* Prepare born-digital records for ingest into the digital preservation system using FRED to extract records from physical media.
* Create policies and procedures for managing born-digital records, including ingest, storage, preservation, arrangement, description, and access.
* Contribute to the analysis of the archival management system and digital archive, making recommendations for improvement.
* Set and maintain standards in line with national and international trends and best practices.
Requirements:
* Archival experience and knowledge of Australian Series System standards.
