What will you be doing day to day?
Civil
* Working alongside a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects
* Develop experience and competency in Earthworks, Road and Stormwater design
* Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination.
* Complete design calculations and records within time and budget restraints
* Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts
* Utilise industry‐standard software such as AutoCAD and 12D to create and modify engineering plans in a digital format
* Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation.
* Participate in site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.
Structural
* Carrying out site investigations, and feasibility studies for proposed projects
* Developing computational models to analyse and assess structural behaviour of new and existing structures
* The design of structures across numerous material types such as Concrete, Steel and Timber
* The production of calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions
* Contribution to structural design requirements from Concept through to Construction phases of project delivery
* Support specific projects by assisting with document co‐ordination and report writing
* Contribute to a multidisciplinary design approach, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Including: Other Engineers, Clients, Architects and Contractors

About You
* Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Degree. If you are studying a Civil engineering degree, with a major in Structural please indicate this.
* Passion for learning and problem‐solving
* Australian Citizen, PR or NZ Citizen
* Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post‐graduation
