Responsibilities
* As a Reservations Agent, be at the heart of the guest journey—shaping experiences before arrival and ensuring reservations are handled with precision and care.
* Manage guest bookings across multiple channels, respond to inquiries with efficiency and warmth, and maximise revenue opportunities.
* Apply strong knowledge of room types, packages, and hotel offerings to guide guests to the perfect stay.
* Collaborate with Front Office, Sales and other departments to ensure booking details, special requests, and VIP arrangements are accurately recorded and communicated.
* Maintain reservation systems, monitor availability, and support the guest experience from arrival to post-stay requests.
Who you will work with
You'll work as part of our Reservations team, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing. This is a part-time role, 22 hours per week, and you are encouraged to bring your unique personality and perspective to the team.
What you will bring to the table
* Passion for the hotel industry and/or experience in luxury service or similar high-level customer-focused industries.
* Ability to forge strong relationships with a service-oriented mindset, resilience, and flexibility.
* Familiarity with OPERA or another Hotel PMS is preferred.
* Knowledge of the local area to provide guest recommendations is highly valued.
