About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Norfolk Lawyers. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our vibrant Fremantle office full-time. In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in delivering top-tier secretarial support to our dedicated team of legal professionals, making a real impact every day.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and proofreading various legal documents such as court documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence
* Managing the lawyers' schedules, arranging meetings, and dictation
* Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems to ensure efficient document management
* Providing customer service and responding to inquiries from clients and other stakeholders
* Creating briefs, disclosures, and other legal documents to support lawyers in court preparation.
* Supporting reception.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar administrative role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
* Excellent typing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
* Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other office software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
* A team-oriented approach with a willingness to assist others as needed
