About the Role
Chandler Macleod is recruiting for an experienced
Senior Financial Analyst
to join a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing sector. This is a
short-term contract role (3-6 months)
, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and provide critical financial support during a transitional period.
You will act as a business partner to the Asia Director, supporting operations across multiple countries while being based in Sydney. The role is hands-on and focused on month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with opportunities to contribute to broader commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of month-end duties and reporting.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Resolve job costing issues within ERP systems.
Analyze product margins and provide insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with regional teams and local finance colleagues.
About You
3–7 years' experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
Background in
manufacturing industry
strongly preferred.
Advanced
Microsoft Excel
skills; experience with large ERP systems (SAP desirable).
CPA qualified or working towards completion.
Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work independently.
Duration:
3-6 months (up to 6 months maximum).
Start Date:
Ideally January, but late December possible.
Location:
Artarmon office, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).
