$350-$450 / day (incl. super) - 6-Month Contract Windows 11, Office 365 Australian Citizenship (mandatory) North Sydney Summary: Desktop Support Specialist will be a fundamental member of the IT Support team as well as provide concierge level of desk-side technical support in the local office. The position will include a unique blend of local on-site & remote customer-focused support within a small team setting. Through teamwork, innovation, and effective communication; represent the IT team with the highest level of client service. Duties: Provide high-quality and customer driven desk-side technical support. Troubleshoot issues from in-bound telephone calls directed to the IT Support number for local & remote sites. Ensure all Teams enabled conference rooms are kept in working order Use of incident management system to properly document and escalate issues as they are reported Adhere to incident management, problem management, change management, and knowledge management best practices Proactive learning of current and newly released applications Collaborate with the wider IT support team to ensure the highest level of customer support and resolution. Seek and identify opportunities to enhance the clients experience with the organisation’s technology. After hours availability to assist with client service delivery, system maintenance, power outages as needed. Required Skills/Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years of general IT support experience in a professional environment Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 within an organization Advanced knowledge and support of various mobile email devices (iPhone & Samsung etc.) Experience with hardware (desktop/laptop) deployment methods using image deployment tools. Ability to utilize and troubleshoot web-based applications. High level of customer service orientation a must. Ability to handle conflict and difficult situations within a technical and customer support environment. Effective communication abilities to all levels of personnel. Ability to quickly diagnose, organize, and prioritize competing deadlines and setting service expectations with clients. Ability to adapt to changing technology and the applications of, within a professional services organization. Desired Skills/Qualifications: Technical and support experience within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Windows 11 & Cisco networking.
