We are looking for a skilled On-Prem & Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in virtualization, backup & disaster recovery, storage systems, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and manage on-prem and hybrid infrastructure solutions
* Administer and support virtualization platforms such as VMware environments
* Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions using Commvault
* Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise storage systems like NetApp
* Implement and manage hyperconverged infrastructure using Cisco HyperFlex
* Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
* Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness
* Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of infrastructure components
* Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis
* Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP)
* Maintain documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams
Required Skills & Experience
* 4–8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or similar roles
* Strong hands‐on experience with:
* VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
* Commvault Backup & DR
* Cisco HyperFlex / HCI systems
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, routing)
* Experience with Windows/Linux server administration
* Understanding of DR strategies (RPO, RTO, replication)
* Familiarity with hybrid cloud integrations
