Overview
Join our team in Canberra as a Field Service Plant Mechanic. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this role will see you diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance tasks, and conducting inspections to ensure our customer machines are in optimal working condition. Specialising in civil and power generation equipment, our successful candidate will leverage their skillset to ensure all work is documented correctly, meets CAT standards, and adheres to site requirements. As a skilled Field Service Plant Mechanic, you are expected to have a high level of technical skills, diagnostic skills and knowledge, along with a passion for CAT equipment.
Rosters & Remuneration
- Day shift only - Monday to Friday
- Tool of trade vehicle, laptop and phone supplied
- Annual earnings from $133,000 - $150,000
*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience
Desired Skills & Experience
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade - Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant
- Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence
- Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices
- Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
- Current Drivers Licence
- Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
