Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and projects.
* Identify and address potential legal risks associated with procurement activities.
* Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
* Manage vendor relationships, including dispute resolution and contract enforcement.
* Offer guidance on complex legal issues to the procurement team.
* Handle disputes and claims related to procurement, striving for amicable resolutions.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure agreement on legal matters.
* Work independently from the Group Head of Vendor Contracting, exercising reasonable autonomy.
* Deliver relevant training to teams.

Requirements
* Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, including data and technology-related agreements.
* Admitted to practice as a legal practitioner in Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
* 6+ years post-admission experience, either in-house or in private practice.
* In-depth understanding of procurement regulations, contract law, and compliance standards.
