About the Role: My client is seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. You’ll play a crucial role in implementing EPC projects, working closely with the Principal Mechanical Engineer to prepare design plans, detailed drawings, and technical support for various projects. Key Responsibilities: Design detailed mechanical systems and subsystems. Prepare general arrangement, detailed, isometric, and P&ID drawings, as well as material lists. Develop designs and drawings across mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines. Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and consulting engineers to execute design works. Provide mechanical design support to the Site Manager for installation. About You: Proven experience in industrial turnkey projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar high-end database programs. Familiarity with NAVISWORKS Simulate and Manage. Knowledge of piping, structural steel, and P&ID drawings. Open to all experience levels, from junior to senior. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail, document control, and process application. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Hold a valid driver’s license. International applicants must have work rights for Australia.
