Overview
Gallagher is a global leader in insurance broking, risk management and consulting, with over 53,000 employees worldwide in over 130 countries. This role focuses on developing, maintaining and driving internal utilisation of bespoke insurance products through market benchmarking, insurer negotiations and proactive coverage strategies that meet evolving client needs. Reporting to the Carrier Relations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping tailored solutions that empower our brokers and clients. Partnering with senior brokers and claims in a dedicated, high-performing team, the role will require:
Strong business development skills to engage with brokers and distribution leaders to assist with optimising facility utilisation
Development of collateral and facilitation of broker training on facility products
Collaboration and engagement with insurers to maintain viable placement solutions
Negotiation with insurers on the development of new and innovative products that address emerging risks or respond to claims trends
Support to claims in relating to facility wordings
Supporting a national team regarding portfolio analysis on Gallagher acquisitions
Knowledge of relevant FSRA legislation and ability to act as conduit with Gallagher compliance teams
Liaison with internal Gallagher stakeholders including legal, risk assurance, compliance, information technology and carrier security teams
Qualifications
Insurance experience in broking or underwriting, with strong knowledge of professional lines products, in particular Professional Indemnity and Management Liability
Ability to clearly communicate technical expertise across all levels of the business
A deep understanding of client needs within facility segments to drive innovation and market competitiveness
A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver strategic outcomes
