Growth & Performance Marketing Manager
Location: Adelaide (on-site preferred)
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 AUD + super commensurate with experience
Reporting to: Director of Digital Marketing

As we continue to grow, we are investing further in our digital marketing capability and are seeking a commercially minded Growth & Performance Marketing Manager to join our team in Port Adelaide.
About the Role
This role exists to own the day-to-day performance, optimisation and execution of our digital marketing strategy.
You will be responsible for ensuring our lead generation, conversion and retention systems are optimised, improving and scaling. This is not just about running campaigns. It is about understanding what is happening beneath the numbers and proactively identifying and fixing issues before they impact performance.
This is a hands-on, senior role with real responsibility, real budgets and the opportunity to meaningfully influence growth across multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Growth Ownership
* Own and optimise lead generation, conversion and retention performance across all digital channels
* Monitor website, paid media, CRM and lead systems to ensure everything is functioning correctly
* Identify trends, opportunities, risks and anomalies and take action
* Lead structured testing and experimentation to improve outcomes
Paid Media & Acquisition
* Oversee and optimise approximately $50k per month in paid media spend across Meta, Google and other platforms
* Act as the internal performance owner for paid acquisition, working alongside, and potentially replacing, external agencies
* Make data-backed recommendations on budget allocation, channel mix and creative strategy
* Pause underperforming activity where required, supported by clear reporting and rationale
SEO, SEM & Website Optimisation
* Drive ongoing SEO and SEM strategy and execution
* Work closely with our WordPress websites to improve CRO, UX and funnel performance
* Identify and implement improvements that increase lead quality and conversion
CRM, Automation & Systems
* Work within Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, along with bespoke systems, to improve:
* Lead handling processes
* Automation
* Reporting accuracy
* Funnel performance
* Identify and evaluate new systems, tools or technologies where appropriate
Reporting & Insights
* Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting
* Translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations for senior management
* Clearly articulate what is happening, why it is happening, and what should be done next
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
* Liaise with internal stakeholders across regions, departments and leadership
* Coordinate campaigns, collateral and content execution with content teams and agencies
* Over time, assist with or take on day-to-day management of other marketing staff
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
* Performance across paid, organic and owned channels is actively monitored, stable and showing growth
* Drops or anomalies are identified early, investigated thoroughly and addressed quickly
* Lead generation and conversion rates are improving through structured testing and optimisation
* SEO and SEM are under consistent, deliberate improvement
* Senior management receives confident, insight-driven KPI reporting
* Campaigns and initiatives are coordinated smoothly across stakeholders
Decision-Making & Autonomy
* Tactical optimisations are expected to proactive
* Campaign adjustments and performance improvements should be recommended confidently
* Major budget increases or strategic shifts will require approval
* This role co-owns strategy, not just execution
What We're Looking For
Experience & Capability
Strong hands‐on experience with:
* Meta Ads
* Google Ads
* Marketing automation
* Reporting and data analysis
* Website optimisation and CRO
* Advanced analytics
Experience within a multi‐location, franchise or fitness‐style business is highly desirable.
A proven background in lead generation, optimisation and performance marketing is essential.
