THE POSITION
* Assisting and overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials.
* Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating.
* Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to.
* Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control.
* Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without compromise to the food safety guidelines provided.
THE PERSON
* Chef's Trade Qualifications.
* Must be able to work autonomously as only chef on site.
* Must be comfortable with customer interaction and using the POS from time to time.
* Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff.
* An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
