Reporting to the Underground Electrical Maintenance Supervisor: y ou will have the opportunity to provide front line support and ensure all electrical works are carried out in a safe, timely, cost effective and environmentally responsible manner.This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.Accountabilities:Doing repairs, maintenance and installation activities on infrastructure such as, motors, VSDs, transformers, substations, starter panels, distribution boards, RMU’s, ventilation fans, dewatering systems, instrumentation, communications, lighting, and other electrical systemsCarrying out scheduled statutory requirements work safely and efficiently.Installing and maintaining underground reticulation systems, ensuring reliable power distribution.Conducting breakdown and maintenance tasks on underground drilling equipment to minimize downtime.Studying plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and or installationsAvailability after hours on a "Call Out" roster basis to respond to any equipment breakdownAssist with equipment maintenance shutdown or power isolation co-ordination and executionAbout YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
