Verint Engineer – Enterprise Voice & AI
Location: Sydney / WFH flexibility
Rate: $1000 p/d inc super
Contract: 11 months w/ extensions
Primary Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a Verint Engineer with deep expertise in Verint and strong knowledge of enterprise voice ecosystems to join a leading multinational banking organisation. This is a unique opportunity to design, develop, and optimise contact centre solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and digital engagement at scale.
About the Role You will be instrumental in building and supporting Verint-driven solutions that leverage AI, Speech Analytics, and Workforce Management (WFM) technologies. Working closely with global engineering teams, you will apply best practices in CI/CD to deliver robust, enterprise-grade solutions. This role offers exposure to high-impact initiatives and advanced technologies, within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and implement AI-based applications using Verint technology
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
* Analyse structured and unstructured data to develop AI algorithms that drive intelligent decision-making
* Integrate Verint AI solutions with enterprise voice platforms and WFM systems
* Debug and optimise existing Verint implementations for scalability and performance
* Stay current with trends in AI, voice engineering, and customer engagement technologies
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
* Document technical specifications, architecture designs, and integration processes

Requirements
* Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on AI technologies
* Hands-on expertise with Verint solutions and platforms (including Verint AI)
* Strong knowledge of enterprise voice ecosystems and adjacent technologies
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
* Solid understanding of social engineering and digital behaviour analysis
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field'
