Facilities Manager / Commercial Property Professional

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Facilities or Commercial Property professional to step into a key client-side role supporting the operations of one of Western Australia's most established and high-performing commercial precincts.
This privately owned organisation manages a large-scale, multi-tenanted industrial and mixed-use estate in Perth's southern corridor, home to a diverse mix of wholesale, logistics, retail and commercial occupiers. With a long-term strategic masterplan underway, this is a rare opportunity to play a hands-on role in the ongoing evolution of a significant WA asset.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of all facilities management across the precinct, working closely with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
This is a highly visible, hands‐on role where no two days are the same – ideal for someone who enjoys being both on‐site and in the detail.
Key responsibilities include:
* End-to-end facilities management across a large, multi-asset site
* Management of contractors and service providers (cleaning, electrical, landscaping, etc.)
* Oversight of maintenance, compliance and building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire)
* Coordination of capital works and improvement projects
* Tenant liaison and stakeholder management
* Assisting with budgeting and operational planning
* Managing and mentoring a Facilities Coordinator
This role is positioned as a 2IC to the Operations Manager, with a clear succession pathway into a more senior leadership position.
About You
You will be an experienced facilities or commercial property professional who thrives in a dynamic, operational environment.
We are open to candidates from both facilities management and commercial property management backgrounds.
You will bring:
* 3+ years' experience in facilities or commercial property management
* Strong understanding of building services and compliance requirements
* Experience managing contractors and multiple workstreams
* Confidence working autonomously in a client-side environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels
* Experience with systems such as MRI, Property Tree or similar will be highly regarded.
