The focus is on in-person learning and development to oversee LHG's specialised training program.The goal is to enhance skills, boost motivation, and promote excellence within the workforce.
Quality and Education Coordinator (Q&E; Coordinator) will undertake quality and compliance activities including audits, data analysis, research, benchmarking, and various projects, to identify opportunities for improvement and education.
In addition to, overseeing the facility's high-quality support of student placements, the Q&E; Coordinator will contribute to, and administer the facility's Continuous Improvement Program, whilst supporting, planning, and delivering educational initiatives.What You'll DoUndertake quality and compliance activities including audits, data analysis (including feedback, trends and incidents), research, benchmarking and projects to identify opportunities for improvement and educationPresent data and analysis of audit information at relevant committee meetings with recommendations for quality improvements to the GMEnsure processes and systems support informed consent, supported and substitute decision making when neededImplement processes that ensure dignity of risk is balanced with duty of care for individual consumersImplement and support the continuous improvement of organisational and clinical quality and safety in keeping with best practice through policies, processes and systemsMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of adult learning methodologies and contribute to the education of staff by oversight of external training programs and the delivery of internal education sessions as requiredWhat You'll Bring:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or a strong background in quality assurance and training within aged care.Experience with Aged Care Quality and Safety review processes, including understanding of accreditation requirements (previous auditing experience is highly regarded).
Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, Quality Care Principles, and relevant regulatory frameworks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information respectfully and confidentially.Experience in staff education and training, including planning, delivering, and evaluating education in aged care or health settings.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with good attention to detail and accuracy.Special RequirementsA current National Police Clearance is requiredA current Australian driver's licence (P2 or above ) is required, along with the willingness to travel between sites as neededWhy Join LHG?
