Job Opportunity: Radiation Oncologist
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Radiation Oncologist to join our expanding cancer service in Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a supportive and experienced team of radiation therapists, nurses, physicists, and engineers.
About the Role:
* This is a permanent, full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight with on-call duties.
* The successful applicant will be based at the WP Holman Clinic Launceston.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide high-quality patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary radiation oncology team.
2. To participate in clinical trials and research initiatives within the Northern Cancer Service.
3. To contribute to the development of treatment plans and protocols for patients with cancer.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Medicine or equivalent qualification.
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (ANZCR).
* Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in the specialty of radiation oncology.
