Residential Aged Care Visitor - Arts & Drawing - Warrnambool
The Role: In your volunteer role you will be paired with an aging senior to provide them regular social support visits in the facility. Activities during your visit are based on yours and your clients interests and could include conversation, playing board games, listening to music or sharing stories. Get to know someone new and make a difference in your local community
Our Client: He would love to do some art, he especially enjoys colouring and drawing. This male in his mid 80's lives in residential care and would be grateful for weekly visits from a male volunteer. He would appreciate having a coffee and playing cards while having a chat with you

About You:
* Lives in and around Warrnambool or is happy to travel.
* Possess clear communication skills.
* Compassionate, patient and an excellent listener.
* Passionate about giving back to your community.
* Conducts yourself with open-mindedness and respect, ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of our clients is always maintained.
* Comfortable using technology to provide feedback and connect with the Volunteer Program.
* Availability for a flexible six-month commitment.
