Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to join our team in the APAC region. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to own the marketing planning and execution of activities working closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for connecting global marketing campaigns and priorities with their country, collaborating with colleagues across the global Marketing, Communications and Sustainability team. They will report directly to the Head of Group Marketing based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and own the development and execution of the APAC marketing strategic and tactical plan in alignment and collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders
* Understand the segment priorities in the APAC region and establish along with sales how best to support our priorities from a marketing perspective
* Build the company's brand position and competitive landscape across APAC
* Be an active participant in the APAC Leadership Team and the Regional Marketing Team
* Plan and coordinate the creation of regional content from global campaigns and advise on additional local campaign requirements to meet your regional needs
* Manage suppliers to develop creative strategies and media execution where required for your region
* Support management with crisis management and local media relations
* Set strategies to build FLSmidth's sustainability profile through partnership with industry bodies
* Being in B2B a large part of the role is the delivery of a range of tradeshows from smaller events to larger investments, where you can develop and execute Best in Class tradeshows and events for FLSmidth, maximizing our investment through integrated campaigns
* Be bold and creative with reaching our customers via both industry tradeshows and FLSmidth events
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* 5+ or more years of experience from a similar marketing role, ideally within the mining industry or global B2B industry
* A strong business sense and can effectively manage stakeholders of all levels, across cultures
* Excellent project management skills to be able to juggle the minutiae of details yet remain focused on the greater goal
* You have strong verbal and written communication skills and have a positive 'can-do' attitude
* You are comfortable challenging the business and your stakeholders, thinking outside the box when it comes to new ways of finding solutions
* You can seamlessly maintain and drive momentum in a busy and sometimes unchartered environment
* An ability and desire to proactively take initiative, ownership and work independently make you a respected and trustworthy colleague
