Your new role As SeniorEstimator, you will play a key role in the procurement, cost control andfinancial administration of multiple building projects. Reporting to seniorproject leadership, youll work closely with site and development teams toensure labour, materials and plant are secured efficiently andcost-effectively. Keyresponsibilities will include: Preparing EOI and tender packages Analysing quotes and making commercial recommendations Letting agreements, purchase orders and subcontract administration Claim reconciliation and payment approvals Managing letting schedules, cost reports and monthly financials Coordinating variations, RFIs and procurement-related documentation Attending site meetings and monitoring construction progress Reporting on budgets, cost movements, efficiencies and risks Supporting site teams to ensure programs and budgets are achieved What you'll need to succeed To be successfulin this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the building industry Background in residential volume construction or commercial projects (preferred) Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications High-level numeracy and computer skills Clear communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail A commitment to quality, safety and ethical work practicesTertiaryqualifications in construction or a related discipline will be highly regardedbut are not essential.
