About The Role
As a key member of the Industry and Business Enablement Leadership Team, you will lead a team of specialists in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance stakeholder relationships and drive business outcomes.
This is a 12-month maternity cover position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of Australia's energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute integrated change, readiness, and engagement strategies to support the NEM Reform Program.
* Lead the development and maintenance of engagement, readiness, and communication frameworks and planning tools to improve efficiency and consistency across projects.
* Partner with the Government and Stakeholder Division to align program objectives with enterprise-wide engagement and communications strategy.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide specialist engagement and communications support for a pipeline of initiatives.
* Ensure smooth operation and coordination of stakeholder forums, working groups, information sessions, and communications are aligned with program objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in the energy sector, preferably in policy, market development, regulatory, stakeholder engagement, or account management roles.
* Demonstrated leadership experience in managing high-performing teams.
* Good understanding of change and readiness frameworks and stakeholder engagement principles.
* Knowledge of AEMO's markets, regulatory framework, and industry structure.
