Head Chef – The Fresh Collective Brisbane
The Fresh Collective is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Chef for our exciting Brisbane event operations, based at The Waters Edge. Work in a fast-paced environment, focused on high end events and functions.
The Role
* Manage all kitchen operations
* Large focus on Social and Corporate catering
* Lead and manage the kitchen brigade
* Work closely with a strong Brisbane based management team
* Oversee and ensure the smooth running of all kitchen operations, including
* Food and Labour costs and controls
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Health and hygiene
* Staff management and recruitment
* Assist in the creation of menus in line with modern food trends
* Drive strategic business decisions for the venues
* Qualifications in Cookery â Diploma level preferred
* Minimum of three years in a leadership role
* Great communication skills and high level of organization
* Function, hotel, restaurant and catering experience is highly regarded
* Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking
* A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
* Strong and detailed business acumen for kitchen operations
* Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work
* Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to plan for the future
* Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best
* Salary at $100,000-$115,00 plus super per year, depending on experience
* Work closely with a highly successful hospitality group
