Our client, a leading women's fashion ecommerce brand is hiring a Merchandise Planning Manager to own planning. This is the most senior planning role in the business, partnering closely with Buying, Ecommerce, Finance and Marketing to drive sustainable growth.
This role needs someone who understands how a 100% ecommerce retailer trades - forecasting online demand, reacting fast to live performance, and using promo and markdown strategy to protect revenue and margin. It is not a retail allocation-led role.
What you'll be doing
* Own and deliver the end-to-end ecommerce merchandise plan across sales, margin and stock targets.
* Partner with Buying to shape seasonal range strategy using trading and customer data.
* Forecast demand and reforecast quickly based on live ecommerce performance and market shifts.
* Drive promo and markdown strategy to maximise revenue, protect margin and manage aged stock.
* Lead OTB and WSSI to keep stock investment aligned to commercial goals.
* Provide clear trading analysis and direction to senior leaders, influencing decisions in real time.
* Coach and develop the Planner reporting into you, lifting planning standards and pace.
What we're looking for
* Experience as a Snr Planner or Merch Planning Manager within a women's fashion that focuses heavily on ecommerce.
* Strong command of ecommerce trading levers: demand forecasting, rapid reforecasting, promo and markdown impact, online stock flow.
* Comfortable operating with high SKU volumes, weekly trade cadence, and messy real-world data.
* Commercially sharp, analytical, and confident partnering cross-functionally.
