Northern Rivers In Home Care, a not‐for‐profit in‐home care child care service operating in the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast, is looking for a qualified and experienced Educator to support a family in Robina, Queensland.
Responsibilities
* Provide education and support for a family unit of five, including four children, with a focus on developmentally appropriate activities to foster and expand developmental milestones.
* Ensure in‐home care (IHC) for one 4‐year‐old child with medical needs such as Global Development Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD.
* Offer vacation care for all children during school holidays.
* Adapt working days and hours to accommodate a flexible schedule ranging from 38 to 50 hours per week.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Certificate III in Children's Services or higher (a relevant and approved Child Care Qualification).
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
* Blue Card and Police Clearance.
* Liability insurance – approximately $43.00 per month (once successfully placed with the family).
* Medical Clearance.
* Child Protection refresher – required every two years.
* ABN.
* Photo ID.
* PRODA RA (the office will assist with this).
* Self‐employed contractor status.

* Job Type: Part time, contractor role (self‐employed).
* Start Date: ASAP.
* Hourly Rate: $38.00 per hour.
* Work Location: In person.
* Preferred Certifications: Cert III in Early Childhood, First Aid, CPR, Blue Card, ABN, Police Clearance.
