Employment Lawyer - A Strategic Partnership
Our organization is seeking a seasoned Employment Lawyer to join our member engagement team. This key role involves providing expert legal advice and advocacy services across all aspects of employment law.
* This position entails advising members on employment relations matters via telephone and email.
* Providing guidance on employment law, including employee rights, employer obligations, and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
* Advise on disciplinary matters, performance-related issues, termination of employment, EEO, discrimination, WHS and award interpretation, health & safety, equal opportunity and diversity, industrial disputes, and more.
Requirements:
* Degree in Law or related field.
* Proven experience as an Employment Lawyer, preferably in a similar industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
