Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining John Deere equipment. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you’ll apply your expertise to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Repairing, servicing and maintenance on John Deere machinery to meet the needs of our diverse customer base. Diagnosing and interpreting machine faults to get our customers back up and running. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour hours for billing and documentation purposes. Providing technical advice and support to customers and other service technicians as required. Uphold safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure working environment. The Ideal Candidate should have: Relevant trade qualifications as a Light or Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural or Plant Mechanic (LV or Diesel Mechanic, Cert III). Current and valid driver’s license. Highly organised with great attention to detail Self-motivated and ability to work independently. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Desirable Skills: Agricultural machinery servicing experience (John Deere preferred, other large brands highly advantageous). Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience is beneficial. Knowledge of CANBUS systems. Excellent customer service skills.
