Accounts Administrator
(Full Time)

At Tonkin, we're a people-first, tech-enabled multi-trade business continuing to grow across the region. We invest in smarter systems and better ways of working to support both our people and our customers, and we're looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role supports day-to-day financial operations with a strong focus on accounts receivable. You'll play a key role in keeping cashflow on track, with the opportunity to build your skills and take on broader responsibilities as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing daily accounts receivable processes, including receipting and accurate payment allocation.
* Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable ledger.
* Actively following up overdue invoices and supporting debt collection activities.
* Preparing and issuing statements, reminders and account correspondence.
* Responding to customer and internal account queries.
* Supporting month-end reporting and compliance.
Experience:
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounting or a related field (preferred).
* Experience in accounts receivable or finance administration.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of AR processes and accounting software/systems.
* Ability to manage time and multitask effectively.
* A keen eye for detail in a busy environment.
