1. Full time; three year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension
2. Salary up to $100k per annum

About the Ranger Coordinator role:
As the Ranger Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the application of the City’s Ranger service functions, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to achieving high standards of public safety, law and order. You will provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to a large team of rangers, administrators and parking officers and be primarily responsible for coordinating the activities of the unit with respect to relevant legislation and the City’s Local Laws.
What you need to succeed:
We are seeking applications from positive team players who have experience in effectively leading a complex team. The successful applicant will align with our values, be a critical thinker with an ability to motivate and influence others. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
5. Relevant qualification such as a Certificate in Local Government Municipal Law Enforcement A and B and/or Certificate IV of Local Government Law Enforcement.
6. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation with operational experience in regulatory investigations, legal proceedings and prosecutions.
7. Highly developed leadership and management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment and apply sound supervisory and team building skills.
