A well‑established government infrastructure program is seeking an experienced Project Support Officer (AO3) to provide high‑level administrative and executive support to a busy program delivery environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting and enjoys supporting senior leaders and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Your new role
Provide high‑level executive and administrative support, including diary and email managementCoordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage meeting documentationAssist with the preparation and coordination of briefing notes, correspondence, and reportsLiaise with internal and external stakeholders across government and industryCoordinate travel arrangements and reconcile financial transactions, including corporate card paymentsSupport procurement and tender documentation processes in line with governance requirementsMaintain accurate records, databases, and document management systemsAssist with event coordination, including venues, catering, and logisticsEnsure compliance with policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in a project support, executive support, or administration roleStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skillsConfidence using a range of computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applicationsThe ability to work professionally with sensitive and confidential informationExperience supporting procurement or project documentation (desirable)A proactive, adaptable approach and a strong team focusCurrent C Class Driver's LicenceAbility to undergo a criminal history checkFull Australian working rights
