One week you're serving thousands of fans at GMHBA Stadium. The next you're slicing brisket at a Surf Coast wedding. Then you're at a major music festival feeding a crowd that's been waiting all day for great food.
Armstrong Barbecue and Smashville are two of Geelong's most exciting food brands — authentic Texas-style BBQ and Nashville hot chicken — and we're looking for the right person to lead our catering and events operation in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Running the food truck and catering operations at events across the region
- Leading service at GMHBA Stadium on event days
- Working select festivals and major events throughout the year
- Managing on-site crew and keeping service running to a high standard
- Working closely with our production kitchen team to set every event up for success
- Representing both brands with pride every time we're out in the field
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in hospitality, catering, or events
- Comfortable leading a small crew under pressure
- Organised, reliable, and takes pride in food and service quality
- Loves the variety and energy of a live events environment
- Current driver's licence essential
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
WHAT'S ON OFFER
- $75,000 – $80,000 base salary
- Full time, based in North Geelong
- Stadium events, festivals, weddings and regional catering
