Responsibilities
- Lead the Care Team in delivering therapeutic supports for children and young people with complex needs.
- Provide therapeutic support to children and young people with complex needs.
- Lead Care Teams to ensure secure, supportive, and trauma-informed care environments.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies, including positive behaviour support and care/case planning.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating referrals, managing transitions, and ensuring placement stability.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience delivering therapeutic support to children and young people.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice.
- Resilient, confident, and pragmatic when managing complex situations.
- Aboriginal candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
