Director Clinical Training Position
The primary goal of this role is to oversee the management and coordination of basic physician trainees within the WACHS Network.
Key responsibilities include recruitment, development, education, and training coordination, as well as monitoring progress.
Collaboration with metropolitan tertiary partners, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) will be crucial in ensuring a fully integrated and high-quality training experience statewide.
Requirements
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must possess Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and hold at least two years' experience as a Consultant Physician.
Applicants should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate large-scale projects effectively.
A strong understanding of the medical field and its various specialties is also essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Additional requirements may include relevant certifications or licenses, as well as experience working in rural or remote areas.
