Job Responsibilities
* Providing in-home care and support to clients, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Assisting clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and outings
* Building rapport and developing relationships with clients to ensure their comfort and well-being
* Communicating regularly with clients and their families to provide updates and address any concerns
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client's condition to the supervising nurse or case manager
Job Requirements
* Must have a full Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
* Valid police check and working with children check
* Previous experience in home and community care or a related field is preferred
* A compassionate and caring attitude towards clients and a commitment to providing high-quality care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
