Product Planning and Merchandising Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Planning and Merchandising professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for effectively planning and managing product inventory across Australia and New Zealand.
\
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, with strong sales analysis and forecasting skills. They should also be proficient in Excel and have experience with SAP or similar systems.
\
The successful applicant will be a proactive and collaborative individual with excellent planning skills. They should also have a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
\
This is a full-time role that offers a hybrid working arrangement, with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days per week. The role reports to the Head of Merchandising and is based at our Support Centre at Norwest Business Park.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee allocation and create robust category plans across all key business metrics.
\
2. Actively participate in the ranging process.
\
3. Manage retail inventory position/stock flow to achieve optimum balance, maximise stock turn and sell through, and minimise product markdown and aged inventory.
\
4. Apply 'just in time' approach to coordinate delivery flow of stock into our 32 stores.
\
5. Support the merchandise team in managing annual brand sales and inventory budgets by category, accounting for calculated reforecasts, risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
\
6. Varying reporting and analysis of trade and inventory performance and productivity.
\
7. Communicating with stakeholders on delays and impacts on stock or deadlines.
\
8. Maintaining meticulous records.
\
9. Working closely with merchandising, sales channels, logistics and Asia Pacific stakeholders.
