About The Company
Our client is a well-established flooring and renovation supplier with showrooms located in Caringbah and Surry Hills. The successful candidate will be primarily based in the Caringbah showroom. The business supplies and installs a range of renovation products including timber flooring, carpet and window coverings, working closely with builders, suppliers and residential clients on renovation and building projects.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the sales process from initial consultation through to quoting, follow-up, closing and project coordination for flooring installations.
Reporting directly to the management team some of your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing project quotes and estimates from both on-site visits and off-plan documentation
* Managing the full sales process including consultation, engagement, follow-up and closing
* Consulting with customers in the showroom regarding renovation and flooring solutions
* Supporting project management activities from sale through to installation completion
* Coordinating installations and liaising with builders, suppliers and internal teams
* Managing online sales enquiries and preparing quotes for eCommerce requests
* Assisting with general warehouse and logistics tasks when required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in sales within building materials such as timber flooring, carpet, window coverings, kitchens, tiles or similar
* Strong computer skills with the ability to manage quoting systems and online enquiries
* An interest in developing project management skills within construction or renovations
* A strong understanding of the full sales process from consultation to closing
* Preferably be based in the Sutherland Shire or surrounding suburbs
* Experience quoting and estimating renovation or building projects
