The role
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a national rehabilitation provider in Sydney, NSW. This is a specialist technical leadership role focused on the New Employer (Different Employer) service stream, working alongside Operations Managers, Quality Managers and frontline consultants. Rather than carrying direct line management responsibilities, you will operate as a trusted subject matter expert guiding consultants and leaders through complex vocational and return to work decision making, driving quality outcomes and contributing to continuous service improvement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct strategic file reviews and provide expert technical advice on complex New Employer Services cases Review and quality check reports and case strategies for legislative, insurer and internal compliance Serve as the escalation point for high-risk, complex or stalled files Support consultants through technical problem solving and scheme interpretation across jurisdictions Contribute to the development and refinement of DE/NES processes, templates and service models Identify trends, capability gaps and improvement opportunities and report insights to leadership Mentor, coach and deliver technical training to consultants Collaborate across Operations, Quality and Learning & Development to ensure consistent national practice Benefits: $110,000 - $125,000 per annum superannuation Senior technical role with national influence over service quality and design Work alongside a highly experienced and multidisciplinary team Flexible working arrangements Supportive, values-driven culture Make a meaningful impact on sustainable return to work outcomes for workers across Australia About You: Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology Current professional registration/membership (ASORC or AHPRA) Extensive experience in New Employer/Different Employer Services within workplace rehabilitation, workers compensation, life insurance or related schemes Advanced technical expertise across vocational assessment, labour market analysis, transferable skills analysis and job seeking services Strong understanding of RTW frameworks, entitlement periods and jurisdictional considerations across Australia Extensive NSW workers compensation scheme experience (essential) VIC, QLD workers compensation and TAC experience (desirable) Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to review and uplift technical report quality Proven ability to coach, mentor and influence consultants High attention to detail, strong professional judgement and a continuous improvement mindset Eligible to work in Australia About Us: MediRecruit provides a specialist healthcare recruitment and career advisory service for Allied Health professionals in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
